Since I'm starting to get into airsoft, I might as well as getting some "tactical" apparels that I can also use for Halloween and other Cosplay events or maybe regular clothing. Modern Warfare 2 was a pretty big hit, and many tries to dress up like ghost but only few succeeded due to the limited quantity of high quality gears that are similar to Ghost's outfit. So...I decided to dress up like Ghost.....
This is Ghost....
Will, since I live in Cali, I'm going to make some changes. I'm going to get khaki 5.11 tactical pants and tan Altama Desert Combat Boots. I can also use both of them for regular daily clothings. For the chest rigs, I'm just going to get a cheap Condor Molle Chest rigs. I already have Condor Soft Shel Jacket and the Skull Balaclave. For the glasses I have found some cheap glasses but might as well find something that can actually protect my eyes. Right now I'm looking into revision HellFly which is somewhere around $50. The biggest problem will be the headset. The Comtac headset is like.......$400+, which I don't think I won't get it.

Tom Clancy's HAWX
HAWX is a flying game made and published by Ubisoft or known as "Ubifail"
Few years ago, due to the popularity of Ace Combat 6 by Namco, Ubisoft announced that they are going to make a flying game to compete with Ace Combat. They even announced that it's going to be a flight sim.
So...players waited, after four delays and the released day was postponed for like 10 months.
The crappiest flight sim was released. The game was not a sim at all.........
Physics were horrible, many models of the planes were wrong, downloadable contents were fucking built in, horrible story line, with only one type of online game mode.
Anyway...the whole thing was just.....wrong.......
Since I already got the game at the time, so I decided might as well play this game like an arcade which I did and turned out to be fun.
I recorded a couple of my online battle against people I don't know at all and they...generally suck...
yea yea yea, I'm bragging
whatever, MLG HAWX title holder I am
I messed around a lot in the game.......
enjoy the vids

Some revolver with bipod, vertical grip and a 4X scope
You don't see that many people with airsoft revolvers,

SAT Tutoring for the Summer~~~
So~~~
I started taking SAT class to prepare for my upcoming SAT test at Oxford Tutoring.
The classes are pretty much divided into three days and two sections for each.
Tuesday = Math + Workshop
Thursday = English + Workshop
Friday = Practice Test + Review
Workshop is pretty much time that you can use to ask any questions or do your homework.
Math class is pretty easy since it only goes up to Basic Geometry for SAT, and I'm taking Pre-Calcules next year. Only thing I need to pay attention on is to not rush and check my answers. English is the part I need to work on a little bit due to massive amount of vocabularies. My grammar is good and essay is good if I know what to write.
The Math teacher is pretty chill, he knows I work through the problems really fast and often finish both my classwork and homework before everyone. Yes, I'm bragging. Every time he'll just give me some extra stuff just to keep me busy. He always says,"What are you going to practice over the week if you finish your homework?" I just answer.....IDK.....
My English teacher is chill too but she often just lectures three hours straight until lunch break which leads me to eat a foot long Philly Cheese steak sandwich with jalapeño and olive. Oh and since I started the class a week late so I have to make up some homework for English. There's a lot of homework but it's manageable.
I took a practice test last week and got 1600s. This week I got 1870! Only missed 3 on math because I rushed~~~~~

Forza Motorsport 3-Drifting
Forza Motorsport 3 is a simulation racing game, but it's not just any simulation racing game.
Started out in 2005 on XBOX and soon became the biggest rival for Grand Turismo on PS.
(Grand Turismo started years before Forza.)
Unlike GT, who used a bunch of not in game footage for advertisements, Forza chose to use game footages and only game footages for all of their trailers and advertisements. The amazing graphic gave Forza a big push on the market.
Drifting.........the most amazing thing you can do in the mountains
Fujimi Kaido
a track located in the Fuji Mountains with many similarity to Aki Meizan in Initial D
over 100 corners with up and down hills
one of the most difficult track to drift on
and here's my maiden voyage on Fujimi Kaido in a Skyline R34
painted as Taiwanese Taxi~~~
note: I haven't tune my car yet at the time
and here's my second run in a Toyota AE86
painted with Miku~~~

Wanting to try something new.....
So....I've always been into military jets and sniper rifles, but I know that i can't be a fighter pilot nor a sniper in real life since my eye sights are not perfect.....
and also the risks of been a fighter pilot or sniper
Since I can't be a pilot, I just play flight simulation, which I'm pretty good at.
I fly everyday and I posted a few videos before.
http://edi-1st.blogspot.com/2010/06/talking-about-over-g-fighters.html
For sniper.....can't buy a gun yet and sniper rifles are....expensive
I've been looking into airsoft since beginning of last year.
What is airsoft?
Airsoft is....well....in general...people shooting at each other with guns that fires 6mm rounded plastic rounds called BBs.
The BBs are fired by springs, air or gas depends on what ever the gun is powered by.
Last year, I was pretty much just dreaming about it since I didn't have enough money to buy anything. As the result, I started saving money, buy less or used games and so on.
I also checked a few local stores around my area and came across Airsoft GI and Evike.
They are both pretty big and famous, carrying many different types of guns from many big and small airsoft companies. I couldn't decide which gun I should get so I looked through the entire inventory......yes....entire inventory....
The first gun I saw was this modified M4
It's only $170 but the outside is completely plastic which gives it a crappy feel.
The FPS is pretty low, so the range for this gun is short, and I will eventually upgrade it.
So why spent extra on upgrading a plastic gun when you can get a nice full metal Airsoft Eletric Gun?
I waited a few more months and found this really nice gun that I'll never need to upgrade.
The Daniel Defense SOPMOD rifle from Socom Gear.
Now....this gun is $350, but it's full metal and comes with a flash hider that amplifies the sound.
This gun fires at 440FPS gives it a pretty good range.
The highest FPS you can go up to in airsoft events is 500FPS.
This means that I don't need to upgrade this gun.
This one also looks much better than the previous one.
Now....lets go back in time for a bit.
I asked my mom can I play airsoft a few months before, she said it's okay as long as I wear protection gears.
So then I asked my cousin can I buy the gun since he's pretty much the one who's taking care of me. He told me his fine but I have to ask my mom and then my aunt (I live with my aunt). I called my mom she said no......so...I was kinda mad since....she said yes on playing but no on buying the guns and renting a gun = not possible. After a few minutes of debating, she said she'll talk to my cousin, then now my cousin told me that my aunt has to say yes. My aunt wasn't home for the passed few days since she went back to Taiwan and just came back. I think I'll ask her sometime between now and Sunday and hopefully she'll say yes.........
Between the time.....I was still looking and other guns, specially the sniper rifles.
There was one that I've always loved but sold out way before I started looking.
That's right, my favorite sniper rifle, DSR-1.
Apparently, both Airsoft GI and Evike restocked it few days ago.....so right now....I want to get the DSR-1.
It's made by ARES in HongKong and ARES is the ELITE or 1337 for those of you.......at making airsoft sniper rifles. They also made the Cheytac Intervention M-200 and the PGM.
Well....anyway.....the gun costs $800...only have $400 right now....
We'll see what will happen....

13+ Pounds of German Diplomacy
My favorite sniper rifle:
AMP Technical Services DSR-1
Designed and built by AMP Tech
The DSR-1 is one of the special sniper rifle.
It uses the bullpop design which means that the magazine is behind the trigger and has free-floating barrel. The DSR-1 is primarily used by the German counter terrorist unit and European police special forces.
It uses the .300/.308 Winchester, .338 Lapua Magnum and .50 BGM rounds.
The gun's overall length is about 990mm and weights about 5.9kg.
The barrel length is 660mm which is the same as the M40.
The gun fires semi-auto.
The gun is extremely accurate with only .20 inch bullet drop at 100 yards.
DSR-1, 2nd from the top, compares to other sniper rifles.
DSR-1 with a standard silencer.

The DSR-1 Subsonic, the entire barrel is pretty much a gigantic silencer.
Parts of DSR-1 after been taken apart for easy transporting.

Disaster before completing my Destiny Gundam......
I didn't sleep well last night, because my dogs were barking in the backyard whole night. However, I was able to push the joint together yesterday after a few hours of hand breaking pressing.
Today in the morning, I ate some breakfast then went to bed upstairs. After few hours, I came down and walked to the table that I was working on my model. I found my manual on the ground and one of the finished legs on the floor. It was strange. Then I realized that one of the legs was missing. I looked all over the floor around the area but found nothing. So, I decided to check the backyard, and there it was, broken, chewed up.
One of my dogs somehow got on the table and took the leg away, then destroyed it.
I was.......raging......I knew who did it because there's only one of my dogs who will jump on the table when it gets a chance.
Well....I finished the rest of the model and here are some of the pictures I took.
The shield has similar effect as the wings but I wasn't able to take a picture of it.

Master Grade Destiny Gundam Model
I continued building my Destiny Gundam.
Here are some pics of my progression so far.
The Master Grade models are ranked 2nd in Gundam Models' difficulty level, perfect grade is first.
The joints have a wide range of movement and many details are showed.
Leg, with detailed mechanisms.
The joints are able to bend almost 180 degrees.
After putting on the armor platings and foot.
So...that was the right leg.....
Now..I'm stuck on the left leg on the same spot where I kinda stuck for the right leg.....
The cylinder shape pole won't go all the way through the hole....
but I was able to pop the one for right leg in somehow.....

24 Heures Du Mans (24 Hours of Le Mans) Audi
Le Mans, one of the three legendary racing in the world, started in 1923 in the French country side. Racers drive as fast as possible and the one who completes the most laps in 24 hours wins. This is the dream of every racers in the world. Every famous car manufactures races here. Famous drivers such as Paul Newman raced here and finished second. For nearly a century, Le Mans has been the ultimate racing. Driver and cars are pushed beyond their limits. They race under any weather. Every single manufactures produce their own cars. Every single cars is different, uses different engines, built with different frames and races with different characteristics.
Audi joined in 1999, and a year later, Audi introduced the R8.
The R8 immediately proves itself. Winning the 24 Hours of Le Man in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2004 and 2005. R8 was not only fast, but also reliable. However, in 2005 during the qualifying, the R8 didn't perform as well as before. It started the race in third. Tom Kristensen was able to finish in first and proved R8's reliability again for the last time.
In 2005, Audi revealed the new R10 TDI, equipped with a 650 horsepower diesel powered engine.
No diesel powered race car has ever won the race, but Audi proves itself again. Winning the race in 2006, 2007 and 2008. In 2008, Peugeot introduced their new diesel powered race car, the 908 HDi, bring the heat of Le Mans even higher. The 908 was three seconds faster than the R10 TDI EACH LAP. However, it wasn't as reliable as the R10 TDI. Tom Kristensen, driver of R10 TDI of the Audi North America Team, won his eighth race of 24 Hours of Le Mans and broke his own world record, the most amount of wins of all drivers. No one has ever won more than six races.
The appearance of 908 shows that the R10 is now, outdated. Audi announced the new R15 TDI.
The R15 wasn't so successful as the R8 or R10. It finished third in 2009, and Peugeot won the race for this year. In 2010, Audi modified the R15 TDI to R15 TDI Plus.
With the improved aerodynamics, the R15 TDI Plus achieved higher speed and better turning.
The R15 triumphed in the 2010 24 Hours of Le Mans and regained the championship for Audi.
Audi has nine victories now, same as Ferrari. It still need seven more to tie with Porche.
Fun facts:
The average Le Mans race cars can generate about 500+ pounds of down force.
Drivers sometimes experience 2~3Gs of lateral force during cornering.
Audi's always earlier than any other companies to be on the track to practice.
Le Mans was cancelled in 1938 due to workers strike and from 1940~48 due to WWII and reconstruction of France.

Today, talking about Sindbad the Sailor and Sindbad the Porter
Sindbad the Sailor and Sindbad the Porter is a story from Thousand and One Nights.
Sindbad the porter is just a porter in the city of Baghdad. Sindbad the sailor is an experienced merchant and sailor who went through the impossibles during his seven voyages. He suffered on everyone of his voyages but gained extreme wealth after the voyages. Unlike most people, he share his gains from the voyages with the poor until he's running out of money, then he will set out for the next voyage. This was more than a thousand years ago. Nowadays, we don't see kindness like this as often.
The requirement to survive in our society is getting higher and higher, but right now our economy is at the worst. People don't have extras that can be given to the poor. Even some of the middle class people are now struggling just to stay out of debt or drowning in debt. Some people have certain amount of extra money that they can use however they want, but they don't give them to the poor. Why? They want to save it up for retirement, for back up if anything happens, for their children, and some just because they don't feel like it.
For the riches, some choose to donate or help out the poor because they want to. But for many, they donate to reduce the amount of tax that they have to pay or just to make themselves to look good to the press and people. There are even people, who live in wealthy mansions and have million dollar cars who choose not to care about the rest of the world. The more ability/wealth you have, the more responsibility you have. The world will always be watching for the riches, YOU CAN'T ESCAPE IT!
Hundreds and thousands of years ago, the requirement you need to survive is just to know how to grow food, where to find clean water, and how to defend yourself. Now it's mostly about money or wealth. If you are not rich, or don't have extras, donate simple things like old clothes you don't wear anymore, or volunteer for your local community. If you are rich, donate some of your money then. Not only that you are helping others, you also pay less tax and feel good about yourself. There's no point to have an enormous amount of extra money when you don't need it.
